Wild Flight Farm is also the home of a contented flock of approximately 100 laying hens, producing certified organic eggs for our markets. The organic standards dictate that our chickens eat only certified organic feed, which means no antibiotics, no hormones and no GMOs (genetically modified organisms). 

The chickens enjoy ample and comfortable housing, and year-round access to the outdoors. When the weather and season permits, they wander freely on grassy pastures, eating plants and bugs, taking dust baths, and engaging in all manner of natural chicken-like behaviour.

Eggs are available at the market table and can also be included as an option in our winter produce shares.
